Super colorful and bright painting by Graffiti legend Blade, Steven Ogburn on NYC MTA Railroad Map.
His paintings on subway maps are cool as Blade has painted on over 5000 subway trains so these are nostalgic and relevant to the artists career.
Blade is also known as the King of Graffiti.
He painted fantastic scenes many on full cars that also had large Blade lettering in various graffiti fonts with vivid colors and backgrounds.
This piece was created by Blade for his solo show in Italy in 2014.
Hand signed Blade signature with crown in marker on front. Also signed on back with his proper name Steven Ogburn with his date of birth 1/23/1957.
Lettering is reminiscent of the letter style graffiti the artist painted on subway trains in the 70’s in New York City.
Made with acrylic spray paints and markers giving it a distinctive shiny texture.
Painted on authentic NYC MTA Railroad Map.
