Large double sided Original Artwork by Al Diaz.
Al Diaz is also famous for being the other half of 70’s- 80’s SAMO© duo along with Jean Michel Basquiat.
One side has I Stare At The Wall and It Stares Back At Me text.
Other side is hand illustrated with quote by Diaz, “SAMO©…FOR THE INDIRECTLY INVOLVED” text which the artist added in 2016.
Signed on bottom right tile side with AL DIAZ 2015 in black marker.
This artwork was also exhibited at his show in NYC in 2015.
The I Stare at the Wall side is made on 1/8 inch tile board and cut alphabets reminiscent of the Wet Paint signs found in NYC subways reworked by Diaz.
This original mixed media artwork is based on the anagram messages Diaz was pasting in NYC subways graffiti style around the time this artwork was produced.
Certificate of Authenticity issued by our gallery included.

CONDITION: Excellent condition. Hand cut by artist, the tileboard has some rough edges. Mark on brown side from sticker removal.
